Business Development Executive

Role Overview

The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying, approaching, and acquiring new customers for the company. The role focuses on generating qualified leads, opening doors with corporate clients, interior designers, and fit-out companies, and converting prospects into active accounts.

This position plays a critical role in expanding market reach, increasing brand presence, and building the pipeline that drives future revenue.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Acquisition

  • Identify and target potential clients in corporates, SMEs, interior design firms, and fit-out companies.
  • Conduct cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and field visits.
  • Secure meetings with decision makers.
  • Present company products and solutions.

Lead Generation & Pipeline Building

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities.
  • Qualify prospects based on budget, authority, need, and timeline.
  • Track upcoming projects and tenders.

Sales & Conversion Support

  • Understand client requirements and coordinate internally for quotations.
  • Follow up consistently to move deals forward.
  • Negotiate within approved guidelines.
  • Support closing of new business.

Market Development

  • Increase brand awareness in assigned territories or industries.
  • Develop relationships that lead to long-term opportunities.
  • Gather competitor intelligence and pricing insights.

Reseller & Channel Expansion

  • Identify, approach, and appoint new resellers and channel partners in targeted markets.
  • Present the company’s product portfolio, pricing structure, and partnership benefits.
  • Complete onboarding formalities and ensure successful activation of new reseller accounts.
  • Coordinate internally to support first orders and initial setup.

CRM & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of meetings, leads, and status updates.
  • Provide weekly reports on:
  • meetings conducted
  • opportunities created
  • expected conversions

KPIs / Performance Metrics

  • Number of new meetings booked
  • New accounts opened
  • Value of pipeline created
  • Conversion rate
  • Revenue from new customers
  • Activity levels (calls, visits)

Requirements Experience

  • 2–3 years in business development, B2B sales, furniture, interiors, or related industries preferred.

  • Self-driven and target-oriented
  • Ability to work outdoors and attend meetings regularly

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
