Business Development Executive

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive with hands-on experience in generating leads and securing projects through Upwork. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, crafting compelling proposals, communicating with clients, and converting leads into long-term projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and bid on relevant projects on Upwork based on company services and expertise.
  • Write customized and persuasive proposals tailored to client requirements.
  • Communicate with potential clients to understand project scope, timelines, and budget.
  • Maintain a high response rate and ensure timely follow-ups with prospects.
  • Negotiate project terms, pricing, and delivery timelines.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to project closure.
  • Maintain records of proposals, client communication, and conversion metrics.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (developers/designers) to ensure project feasibility and smooth onboarding.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients to secure repeat business and positive reviews.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development or bidding on Upwork.
  • Strong understanding of Upwork algorithms, proposal ranking, and bidding strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze client requirements and propose suitable solutions.
  • Experience working with IT, software, or digital services companies is preferred.
