Business Development & Growth Executive Director

Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and execute the organization’s business development and growth strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Identify new markets, sectors, and opportunities to expand the company’s services and market presence.
  • Lead the pursuit and negotiation of strategic partnerships, major contracts, and business agreements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, government entities, and strategic partners.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop and manage a robust pipeline of business opportunities to achieve revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Lead and mentor the business development team while establishing clear KPIs and performance targets.
  • Represent the organization in high-level meetings, industry events, and strategic engagements.
  • Ensure alignment between business development, marketing, and operational teams to drive growth.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
  • 10 –15+ years of experience in business development, strategy, or commercial leadership roles.
  • Proven track record in driving organizational growth and revenue generation.
  • Experience leading strategic partnerships and high-value negotiations.
  • Strong understanding of market analysis, competitive positioning, and growth strategies.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing business development teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
