Business Development Intern

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research to identify target audiences and industries primed for engagement on Instagram and via email marketing.
  • Initiate outreach through Cold DMs on Instagram and cold email campaigns to generate qualified leads and effectively close deals for the business.
  • Craft compelling, personalized messages for both Instagram and email outreach that nurture conversations, build trust, and clearly communicate our value proposition.
  • Manage and optimize email outreach campaigns, including subject line testing, follow-ups, and response tracking.
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria to ensure alignment with our ideal customer profile.
  • Maintain organized records of outreach efforts, conversations, and pipeline progress using CRM or tracking tools.
  • Consistently meet and surpass weekly and monthly targets for conversations initiated, leads qualified, and deals closed.
  • Stay up to date with Instagram trends, platform updates, DM best practices, and evolving email outreach strategies to continuously improve performance.

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in or a recent graduate of a relevant degree program (e.g., Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fields).
  • Proven or practical experience in cold email outreach, including writing persuasive email copy and managing follow-up sequences.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram as a marketing platform, including direct messaging best practices and audience engagement strategies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft persuasive, personalized outreach messages.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a strong drive to meet and exceed lead generation and closing targets.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills to effectively manage lead data and communication records.
  • Comfortable working independently while also collaborating within a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Eager to learn, adapt, and grow in a dynamic digital marketing and sales

About Us: We are a pioneering startup leading the charge in digital marketing, specializing in harnessing the power of Instagram for business growth. As a valued intern within our team, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to our outreach initiatives, foster client relationships, and play a crucial role in our expansion strategies.

Working Conditions:

  • Remote-based position.
  • 5 days a week, 7 hours per day.
  • Timings: 5:00 pm - 12:00 am (flexibility may be required based on business needs).
