Job Description

Encyphers is seeking a motivated and ambitious Business Development Intern to join our growing team. This internship is designed for individuals who are passionate about technology, sales, and client communication. The selected candidate will receive hands-on training in lead generation, client acquisition, proposal writing, and business development strategies for international markets.

Candidates with a Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Business-related background will be preferred; however, this is not mandatory. Fresh graduates and final-year students with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and generating leads from international markets including the USA, UK, Australia, Europe, and Canada.
• Research potential clients through LinkedIn, Upwork, Fiverr, Clutch, and other online platforms.
• Support the team in preparing business proposals, presentations, and project quotations.
• Learn and assist in the bidding process on freelance marketplaces.
• Communicate with prospective clients via email and online meetings under the guidance of senior team members.
• Maintain and update CRM records, client databases, and follow-up schedules.
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.
• Coordinate with the technical team to understand client requirements and project scope.
• Build strong relationships with potential clients through timely follow-ups and professional communication.
• Assist in preparing reports on business development activities and performance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Basic understanding of IT services such as Web Development, Mobile Applications, UI/UX Design, or E-commerce is a plus.
• Good research, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn business development and sales techniques.
• Self-motivated, confident, and eager to build a career in the IT industry.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Knowledge of freelance platforms or CRM tools will be considered an advantage.
