Job Summary

The Business Development Manager is responsible for exploring new business opportunities, driving growth and profitability, the role involves strategic oversight of sales performance, revenue optimization, and market share expansion, cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with government entities, suppliers, business partners, potential clients, consultants, along with developing effective sales promotions and commercial initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and potential markets.
  • Develop and lead business cases and feasibility studies for new initiatives.
  • Collaborate with product, planning, finance, and marketing teams to align strategic objectives.
  • Analyse market trends, competitors, and customer behaviour to support strategic decisions.
  • Prepare business proposals, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support localization and industrial footprint projects in line with group strategy.
  • Maintain relationships with key partners, stakeholders, and potential clients.
  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams to implement strategic initiatives.


Qualifications

  • Education: Education bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in business development, strategy, or commercial roles in the automotive or related industries.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience in the automotive sector or industrial business development is preferred
  • Willingness to travel as required (domestic and international)
  • Experience in consulting and strategy planning is a plus.
