Business Development Manager

About the Job

Safeway Interior Design is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to support our growth across commercial, residential, and industrial interior fit-out projects. This role serves as a key client-facing position, responsible for lead generation, client relationship management, proposal coordination, and achieving targeted project acquisition goals.

The ideal candidate will have strong exposure to interior fit-out / construction sales, tendering processes, and client coordination within the UAE market.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Market Research

  • Generate 15–20 new qualified leads per week
  • Research construction portals, tender platforms, and market opportunities
  • Identify new clients, consultants, contractors, and developers
  • Maintain and update CRM / lead tracking systems on a daily basis

Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the first point of contact for prospective clients
  • Schedule and attend minimum 5 client meetings per week
  • Present company profile, capabilities, and project experience
  • Ensure timely response and follow-up on all client enquiries

Proposals, Quotations & Tender Support

  • Coordinate with Estimation and Design teams for BOQs and proposals
  • Support preparation and submission of quotations, proposals, and

Requalification documents

  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely submission of all tenders
  • Track proposal revisions and client feedback

Sales Coordination & Reporting

  • Maintain effective coordination between clients and internal teams
  • Track enquiry, proposal, and conversion status
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
  • Highlight hot leads and new business opportunities to the Sales Manager

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Development / Sales within Interior

Fit-Out or Construction

  • Strong understanding of fit-out works, BOQs, tendering, and project sales
  • Proven ability in client acquisition, negotiation, and follow-up
  • Experience working with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and coordination skills
  • UAE market experience is mandatory; UAE driving license preferred
