Business Development Manager

-Job Opening: Business Development Manager
Location: DOHA, QATAR.
Salary: Approx. 15,000 QAR (including incentives)

We are looking for a European or American national for the role of Business Development Manager. Freshers or candidates with 1–2 years of experience are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Tender Participation:

  • Identify and evaluate tenders, RFPs, RFQs, and EOIs from government, semi-government, and private sector entities.
  • Manage the complete tender lifecycle including pre-qualification, bid preparation, submission, and post-submission follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (technical, finance, HR, legal, operations) to collect required inputs for tender submissions.
  • Prepare commercial proposals, pricing models, compliance matrices, and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure all submissions comply with client requirements, contractual terms, and internal approval processes.
  • Maintain a tender calendar and track submission deadlines.

Business Development:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, and client engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare business proposals, presentations, and capability statements tailored to client requirements.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and market intelligence to strengthen bid strategies.
  • Support negotiations and contract finalization with clients.

Coordination & Reporting:

  • Act as the single point of contact for tender-related communication internally and externally.
  • Maintain an organized repository of tender documents, contracts, and bid submissions.
  • Prepare regular reports on tender status, success rates, pipeline opportunities, and business development activities.
  • Work closely with management to develop bid strategies and growth plans.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • High attention to detail and compliance-driven mindset
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of proposal tools is an advantage
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
