Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Manager – Business Development to lead our financial markets division. The role focuses on driving business growth through strategic planning, team leadership, client relationship management, and achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and manage the Business Development team with clear KPIs.
- Design and execute growth strategies aligned with company goals.
- Recruit, train, and mentor high-performing professionals.
- Foster a results-driven and innovative team culture.
Business Development
- Develop business plans and identify high-potential opportunities
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
- Execute sales strategies to exceed revenue goals
- Establish and grow strategic industry relationships
Client Relationship Management
- Oversee the full sales lifecycle, ensuring exceptional client experience
- Manage key accounts and close high-value deals
- Identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities
- Build long-term client trust and loyalty
Market Intelligence
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of financial markets (stocks, gold, crude oil)
- Monitor industry trends and regulations
- Translate insights into actionable plans and team direction
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field
- 7+ years’ experience in business development/sales
- Minimum 4 years in a leadership role within financial services
- Strong team leadership, coaching, and sales strategy execution
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- CRM proficiency and analytical thinking
- Passion for financial markets and proven track record in revenue growth
