Business Development Manager

Ocoda Agency is hiring a high-caliber Business Development Manager for Travel&Toursim Project inside Ocoda agency to lead our expansion across the GCC market.

Job Summary
We are seeking a high-energy, strategic Business Development Manager to drive our company’s growth within the Saudi Arabian travel market . In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships with hotels and travel suppliers, and expanding our OTA market presence. The ideal candidate is a "hunter" by nature and a decisive leader who possesses the autonomy to make critical business decisions. We are looking for someone with deep knowledge of the KSA travel landscape , exceptional communication skills, and the authority to take ownership of the entire development process to ensure long-term commercial success.


Key Responsibilities


  • Market Expansion (KSA Focus): Conduct market research to identify new travel trends in Saudi Arabia (e.g., Giga-projects like NEOM, Red Sea, and Religious Tourism/Umrah).

  • Lead Generation & Acquisition: Proactively hunt for new partnerships with Saudi-based hotel chains, DMCs, and local travel service providers to enhance our inventory.

  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, Saudi travel authorities, and corporate clients.

  • Strategic Decision-Making: Act as a primary decision-maker in qualifying partners and determining the commercial viability of travel deals to ensure alignment with Saudi market demands.

  • Negotiation & Closing: Lead the negotiation process to secure exclusive rates and "Preferred Partner" agreements with hospitality providers across the Kingdom.

  • Operational Autonomy: Exercise high-level judgment in pivoting sales strategies (e.g., during Peak Seasons or Saudi Vision 2030 events) and allocating resources to close high-priority deals.

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to set ambitious sales targets tailored to the Saudi market’s seasonality.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Tech and Marketing teams to ensure OTA platform features meet the specific preferences of Saudi travelers.

Requirements & Qualifications


  • Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in Business Development within the Travel/Tourism industry , specifically for an OTA or TMC .

  • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Saudi Arabian market (KSA) , including consumer behavior, travel seasons, and local regulations.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Business Administration, or Marketing.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic (essential for the Saudi market).

  • Strategic Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify opportunities in the fast-evolving Saudi tourism sector.

  • Decisiveness: A proven ability to act as a decision-maker , managing contract terms and commercial risks independently.

  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in OTA booking engines , GDS knowledge, and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
