Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Drive achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales, distribution, and visibility targets across all channels

Develop and execute strategic business development plans to ensure sustainable growth

Lead distributor management, including negotiations, performance reviews, and expansion of the network
-
Strengthen relationships with key retail partners and ensure effective execution of trade agreements
-
Ensure strong in-market execution, visibility, and availability of products
-
Lead, coach, and develop sales teams and distributor staff to enhance performance
-
Conduct regular market visits to monitor competition and identify growth opportunities
-
Manage stock levels efficiently to avoid stock-outs or overstocking
-
Ensure timely recovery of receivables in line with company policies
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance) for smooth operations
-
Utilize data and market insights to recommend actionable strategies and drive business growth
-
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
-
6 to 8 years of progressive sales experience, preferably in the FMCG sector
-
Strong experience in territory/area sales management, distributor handling, and team leadership
-
Solid understanding of sales fundamentals, trade marketing, and distribution management
-
Familiarity with General Trade, Wholesale, and Modern Trade dynamics
-
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and sales tools
-
Strong analytical and decision-making skills

Willingness to travel extensively
