Business Development Manager

Headquartered in London, Global Event Partners is a dynamic international event organiser, specialising in conferences and exhibitions across a wide range of countries and industries. As a fast-growing company, we deliver high-level platforms that connect senior decision-makers and drive business growth across global markets.

With offices in London, Cairo, Medellín and Paramaribo, and a growing portfolio of events across 15+ countries, we are expanding our commercial team and are looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager with a strong focus on sponsorship and exhibition sales.

Role Overview

This is a front-line revenue-generating role focused on selling sponsorship packages, exhibition space, and delegate participation across our international events. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business, managing the full sales cycle, and consistently exceeding revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively sell sponsorship packages, exhibition stands, and delegate places across assigned events.
  • Identify and secure new clients through targeted outreach, cold calling, and networking.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, ensuring consistent deal flow and conversion.
  • Engage with senior decision-makers (C-level and directors) across international markets.
  • Deliver tailored sales pitches and proposals aligned with client objectives.
  • Negotiate and close high-value commercial deals.
  • Achieve and exceed weekly, monthly, and event-based revenue targets.
  • Maintain and update CRM/database with accurate sales activity and client information.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure client expectations are met and delivered.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and market developments to support sales strategy.
  • Attend and support the delivery of events on-site when required.

Candidate Profile

  • Native-level English (written and spoken) – essential.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally in events, media, exhibitions, or sponsorship sales.
  • Strong track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Confident in cold outreach, pitching, and closing deals.
  • Commercially driven with a clear focus on revenue generation.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Comfortable dealing with international clients and different cultures.
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and results-oriented.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple sales cycles.
  • Willingness to travel when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From E£50,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Cairo: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Sales: 3 years (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 25% (Preferred)
