Business Development Manager (B2B)

Job Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving business growth by developing strong customer relationships, expanding market presence, and increasing revenue through strategic account management and customer-focused initiatives. The role focuses on understanding customer needs, maximizing value delivery, and ensuring long-term customer retention and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute customer development strategies to grow sales, market share, and customer loyalty
  • Manage and expand relationships with key customers and distributors
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and new markets
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, supply chain, and product teams to deliver customer-centric solutions
  • Analyze customer data, sales trends, and market insights to drive informed decisions
  • Lead negotiations, pricing strategies, and contract discussions with customers
  • Ensure effective execution of promotions, trade marketing, and merchandising plans
  • Monitor competitor activity and market dynamics
  • Achieve sales targets, revenue growth, and profitability goals
  • Resolve customer issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Market visits & vendor Management

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • Proven experience in customer development, sales, or key account management
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales and market data
  • Strategic thinking with strong execution capability
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office / analytics platforms
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
