Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) with 5–7 years of proven experience in IT sales. The ideal candidate must have prior experience working in a software house and demonstrated success in leading a sales team. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, the ability to build long-term client relationships, and a track record of exceeding sales targets in the IT industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve company sales targets and growth objectives.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in local and international IT markets.
- Lead and mentor the sales team, providing guidance, support, and training to maximize performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations to potential clients.
- Collaborate with technical and project management teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions aligned with client needs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and risks.
- Report regularly on business development activities, pipeline status, and team performance to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of proven experience in IT Sales within a software house environment.
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Prior experience as a team lead or manager, with excellent leadership and people management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of IT services, solutions, and software development processes.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to build long-term client relationships and drive customer satisfaction.
