Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building relationships with clients/students, and leading the sales team to achieve targets. The role requires strategic planning, market analysis, and effective execution of sales initiatives to maximize revenue and brand presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve organizational goals.
  • Identify potential clients, students, or partners and establish strong relationships.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales/business development team to achieve targets.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Plan and participate in events, admission drives, and marketing campaigns to generate leads.
  • Maintain and update CRM systems or lead-tracking tools with accurate information.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and agreements with clients or partners.
  • Prepare sales reports, performance analysis, and present findings to senior management.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and academic teams to align strategies and ensure smooth execution of initiatives.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and maintain a professional brand image.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 3–7 years of experience in business development, sales management, or client relationship management (education sector preferred).
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Target-driven, strategic thinker, and result-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and reporting software.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
