Business Development Manager - FMCG

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Strategy

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to grow FMCG sales and market share
  • Identify new business opportunities, product categories, and distribution channels
  • Prepare annual sales plans, forecasts, and growth targets

Sales & Market Expansion

  • Manage key accounts including modern trade, traditional trade, wholesalers, and distributors
  • Expand geographic and channel coverage across Abu Dhabi and the UAE
  • Drive product listings, promotions, and in-store visibility

Partner & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and strategic partners
  • Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, margins, and promotional agreements
  • Monitor distributor performance and ensure target achievement

Market Analysis & Reporting

  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities
  • Track sales performance, KPIs, and ROI on promotions
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior management

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution
  • Support product launches and marketing campaigns
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations
