Position: Business Development Manager – International Carrier & Wholesale Business
Department: International Carrier & Wholesale
Location: Onsite - Karsaz, Karachi
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager – International Carrier & Wholesale Business to oversee global operations across A2P Messaging, Voice, WhatsApp, CPaaS, and enterprise communication services. The ideal candidate will manage partner relationships, optimize traffic performance, and ensure seamless commercial and operational delivery in a fast-paced international telecom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage international carrier and wholesale operations across multiple communication channels.
Maintain and expand agreements with MNOs, global carriers, SMS hubs, and CPaaS providers.
Drive sales growth, achieve revenue targets, and ensure overall profitability of assigned
accounts.
Proactively identify and execute upselling opportunities with existing clients to increase revenue and strengthen relationships.
Oversee pricing, invoicing, usage reconciliation, dispute resolution, and timely recoveries of outstanding invoices.
Monitor traffic performance (delivery rates, latency, throughput, and route quality) to ensure optimal service levels.
Handle end-to-end account management, ensuring strong partner relationships and consistent service delivery.
Ensure proper closure of service delivery, including contractual, operational, and financial
finalization.
Collaborate with internal teams to align on commercial, operational, and technical requirements.
Analyze partner performance, market trends, and pricing to support strategic business decisions.
Utilize data analytics tools to extract insights, track KPIs, and present performance reports to management.
Manage and mentor team members to achieve departmental goals and maintain high
performance standards.
Represent the company in industry meetings, client engagements, and selected telecom events
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Business, Telecommunications, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in international carrier, wholesale, or telecom operations.
Strong understanding of A2P messaging, Voice, and CPaaS ecosystems.
Proven track record in partner management and commercial operations.
Excellent communication (Verbal & Written), analytical, and negotiation skills.
proficiency in data analytics tools to monitor performance, extract insights, and support
decision-making.
Knowledge of AI-powered smart tools and their practical applications to enhance efficiency and business outcomes.
Tech-savvy, with the ability to adapt to emerging technologies and leverage digital tools for operational excellence.
