Job Summary

The Business Development Director will lead strategic growth initiatives within the Oil & Gas sector in Saudi Arabia, with a primary focus on expanding business opportunities with Saudi Aramco, Ministry of Energy and its ecosystem.

The role is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.

Job Functions

Business Development

Main Duties & Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute business development strategies targeting Business Development within potential clients in KSA.
• Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
• Lead market intelligence, competitor analysis, and client mapping.
• Act as the primary interface between the company and key clients.
• Represent the company in high-level meetings, negotiations, and industry events.
• Lead the full business cycle from opportunity identification to contract award.
• Oversee prequalification processes (including Aramco vendor registration & approvals).
• Support proposal development, pricing strategies, and commercial negotiations.
• Lead the full business cycle from opportunity identification to contract award.

• Lead and mentor the Business Development and Proposal teams.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, and PMO for integrated project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline) is mandatory.
• Master’s degree in Engineering Management, MBA, or Finance is highly preferred.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, RMP, P3O or equivalent is an advantage.
• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in Business Development within Oil & Gas/EPC with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience working with or for Saudi Aramco projects, preferably aligned with Vision 2030 initiatives.
• Aramco Approval / Experience is a MUST
• Strong knowledge of Aramco procedures, standards, and procurement processes
• Strong understanding of EPC contracts and project lifecycle
• Expertise in tendering, estimation, and contract negotiation
