Business Development Manager, Water Based Fire Suppression Systems

What you will do

The Business Development Manager drives technical and commercial adoption of JCI’s water‑based suppression technologies within Saudi Arabia, establishing robust specifications in collaboration with key stakeholders across design and ownership groups. You will work collaboratively with the broader Fire Suppression team to ensure continuity and achievement of regional and global strategic objectives. You will be able to provide technical solutions to common and unique fire protection challenges and will have a good understanding of all aspects of fire suppression technologies.

As the Business Development Manager of Fire Suppression, you will play a key role in the development of new growth strategies and chase FEED stage projects to develop sustainable long-term growth and competitive advantage for our business.

Working with colleagues and established partnerships you will be integral in market and wallet share expansion.

How you will do it

As the Business Development Manager – Fire Suppression you will be responsible for developing a strategy and driving the business relationship across multiple key end users and specifiers operating in the fire industry across the Saudi Arabia to unlock and deliver revenue growth that exists within their portfolio. You will leverage the expertise and embed a culture of cross functional sales and technology to support, execute and close the opportunities. You will create and become a trusted advisor of key influencers and act as the key interface between partner’s and all decision makers.

As the Business Development Manager of Fire Suppression, you will manage key customers relationship and meet with all relevant specifiers and decision makers, holding business reviews to assess opportunities.

You are a hunter driven to seek and develop strong relationships, self-motivated enjoying the challenge of working in a matrix structure. You’re naturally perseverant, tenacious and consistent in your approach to work, managing multiple priorities simultaneously because of your excellent planning, organization and time management skills.

Accuracy and consistency in maintaining the prevailing CRM tools to accurately reflect both your activities and the status of all projects in the region is essential.

What we look for

Required

  • Degree educated or equivalent experience
  • 5 – 7 years proven track record in sales and or business development
  • 3 years’ minimum experience of managing accounts with demonstrable capability of developing specifications for multiple product lines across different functions
  • Strong knowledge of the Fire Protection industry within KSA
  • Ability to build, develop, and execute a rolling plan
  • Ability to present concepts and articulate business values to c-level executives and key decision makers
  • Ability to lead strategic relationships to develop long term partnerships
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Self-starter, tireless and results driven mentality, able to continually critique & optimize performance
  • Experience working in a global team environment and communicating effectively across multiple cultures
