Business Development Officer

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive with proven experience in Air, Sea, Road freight, Dangerous Goods (DG), and Out of Gauge (OOG) shipments. The ideal candidate will have a strong network in the logistics industry, exceptional sales skills, and the ability to secure and grow profitable business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across Air, Sea, Road, DG, and OOG segments.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Coordinate with internal operations, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
  • Handle DG and OOG shipments in compliance with all international and local regulations.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of freight rates, market trends, and competitor activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field.
  • 3–6 years of sales experience in freight forwarding, with specific expertise in Air, Sea, Road, DG, and OOG shipments.
  • In-depth knowledge of UAE Customs procedures, Free Zone regulations, and Middle East logistics market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Salary to be discussed during the interview.
  • Valid UAE Driver’s License (preferred).
  • Own visa preferred but not necessary.

Experience:

  • Sales Freight Forwarding: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Drivers License (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 75% (Preferred)
