Job Summary
The Senior Business Development Manager will lead business growth initiatives for the company’s joinery and fit-out division in the UAE. The role involves strategic sales planning, key account management, and securing high-value projects while maintaining strong exposure to estimating, design coordination, and project execution. This position requires strong market knowledge of the UAE Joinery and fit-out sector.
Key Responsibilities for Strategic Business Development
- Develop and execute business development strategies to grow joinery and fit-out projects across the UAE.
- Identify and secure projects with developers, consultants, main contractors, hospitality groups, retail brands, and corporate clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Represent the company in client meetings, presentations, negotiations, and industry events.
Sales, Tendering & Commercial Management
- Lead the preparation and submission of EOIs, pre-qualifications, tenders, and design-build proposals.
- Coordinate with estimating, design, and technical teams to ensure competitive and accurate pricing.
- Lead commercial negotiations, contract finalization, and scope clarifications.
- Achieve assigned revenue targets and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
Client & Key Account Management
- Manage key accounts and ensure repeat business.
- Act as the primary commercial contact from pre-contract stage to project award.
- Ensure client requirements are clearly communicated to internal teams for smooth project execution.
Project & Operational Exposure
- Work closely with design, factory, procurement, and project teams to ensure feasibility and alignment with client expectations.
- Support project handover from business development to operations.
- Gain and apply practical knowledge of joinery production, material specifications, site installation, and authority requirements in the UAE.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Monitor market trends, competitors, pricing benchmarks, and upcoming projects in the UAE.
- Maintain CRM systems, sales forecasts, and monthly performance reports.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management.
Overall Work Exposure
This role provides comprehensive exposure to:
- High-end joinery manufacturing and interior fit-out execution
- Hospitality, residential, commercial, and retail fit-out projects
- Costing, value engineering, and contract negotiations
- Client handling from lead generation to project award and handover
- Cross-functional leadership with design, factory, and site teams
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in business development within the UAE joinery / fit-out / interiors industry.
- Proven track record of securing large-scale fit-out or joinery projects in the UAE.
- Strong network with consultants, contractors, and developers in the UAE market.
