Role Summary:

We are seeking a high-energy Business Development Officer to drive growth in the Chennai market. This is a unique role where you will manage a hybrid sales funnel: building a strong referral network of industry partners (Architects, Builders, and Contractors) while also engaging directly with Homeowners to provide premium interior solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Channel Partner Acquisition: Identify and build long-term strategic relationships with Architects, Builders, and Civil Contractors to establish a consistent referral pipeline.

Direct Sales & Consultations: Meet with end-users (Homeowners) to present Homworks.com’s design philosophy, 3D capabilities, and transparent pricing models.

On-Site Coordination: Conduct site visits at various stages of construction to consult with contractors and clients on technical and design requirements.

Networking & Pitching: Deliver professional presentations to architecture firms and real estate developers to position Homworks.com as their preferred interior partner.

Lead Management: Proactively follow up on leads generated through channel partners and marketing efforts to ensure high conversion rates.

Sales Closure: Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring all commercial and design terms are clearly understood by the client.

Market Intelligence: Stay updated on new residential projects, apartment handovers, and villa developments across Chennai.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of sales experience, specifically in Home Interiors, Real Estate, or Building Materials.
Freshers are welcomed

Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical professionals (Architects/Contractors) and buyers (Homeowners).

Language Skills: Fluency in Tamil and English is essential for navigating the Chennai market.

Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, excellent negotiation skills, and a "field-first" approach to business development.

Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of floor plans and interior materials is a strong advantage.
