Position Overview

We are seeking a driven and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) to generate new business opportunities and fuel our growth. This role is responsible for outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and setting appointments for our sales team with small contractors, builders, and property managers.

This is a high-impact role with clear growth opportunities into Account Executive or Sales Manager positions.

This position is salary plus commission - uncapped commission!

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new leads through outbound calls, emails, social outreach, and local networking
  • Identify and qualify small contractors, general contractors, and multifamily prospects
  • Set appointments and hand off qualified opportunities to the sales team
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers
  • Follow up consistently with inbound and marketing-generated leads
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to refine outreach strategies
  • Meet or exceed monthly KPIs (calls, meetings set, qualified opportunities)

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles (B2B preferred)
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills (phone, email, in-person)
  • Highly motivated, competitive, and results-driven
  • Ability to handle high-volume outbound activity
  • Organized and comfortable using CRM tools
  • Experience in construction, building materials, or home improvement is a plus (not required)

Pay: $60,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
