Business Development Representative – Job Description


Location: In-person | Old Rally Building, Karachi, Pakistan

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation and Prospecting

  • Identify and research potential clients, markets, and growth areas through structured lead generation activities.
  • Use our internal Data to outline clients who would be a good fit as customers
  • Utilize cold outreach and network-building to initiate contact with potential partners.
  • Maintain and update internal lead tracking systems (e.g., CRM/Excel).

Client Engagement and Relationship Building

  • Assist in planning and conducting client meetings—conduct demos, participate in discovery calls, and take follow-up action.
  • Building and maintaining long-term partnerships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
  • Maintain timely and professional correspondence across all client touchpoints, offering business support to ensure customer satisfaction

Market Research and Opportunity Analysis

  • Analyze industry trends, competitor activity, and customer segments to identify opportunities for strategic growth.
  • Support in preparing SWOT analysis, business proposals, and internal briefings.
  • Bring forward suggestions for expanding into a wider geographic range of clients within Pakistan and abroad.

Sales Support and Pipeline Management

  • Support proposal development, pricing, and negotiation strategies.
  • Monitor BD pipeline against targets.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with internal teams (Research, Product, Finance, Tech, Marketing) to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Communicate needs, expectations and feedback of external prospects with internal teams.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and strategy development around the internal teams.

Continuous Improvement and Learning

  • Staying informed on industry trends, policy changes, and competitor activities, providing market analysis.
  • Regularly collect feedback from prospects and team members to improve outreach tactics, refine pitches and retain clients.
  • Demonstrate a learning mindset by experimenting with new tools or strategies.


Preferred Majors

  • Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Commerce, Social Sciences, Communications


Skills and Tools

  • 1-2 years of experience with SaaS products
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills
  • Market Research
  • Fluent English writing and speaking ability
  • Physical and Online Presentation skills (Zoom, Google Meet)
  • Microsoft Excel/ Sheets, Google Docs/ Words
  • Familiarity with CRM and ERPs such as ODOO.

Work Environment

  • On-site at Old Rally Building, I.I. Chundrigarh Road, Karachi
  • Monday – Friday | 9 AM – 6 PM
  • 3-month probation period
