Job Overview

Virexus Electric Services is not just another electrical contracting company. We power the infrastructure that makes Dubai run, from high-rise towers to industrial complexes. Now, we are establishing our strategic headquarters at the DIFC to drive expansion, forge partnerships, and secure major projects across the UAE and beyond. We need a Business Director who speaks two languages fluently: technical electrical execution and high-level commercial strategy.

The Role

This is not a traditional operational role. As Business Director, you will sit at the intersection of business development, client relations, and strategic growth. You will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, leading high-stakes negotiations, building relationships with developers and consultants, and ensuring that our project pipeline aligns with our financial targets. You will work hybrid: some days at our DIFC office closing deals, other days remotely analyzing market data or preparing board presentations. If you have sold multi-million dirham electrical packages and know how to navigate Dubai's construction ecosystem, we want to talk.

Duties

• Develop and execute the company's business growth strategy for the UAE and regional markets.
• Identify and pursue major electrical projects in commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.
• Build and maintain relationships with real estate developers, main contractors, consultants, and government entities.
• Lead contract negotiations, including pricing, terms, and risk allocation for projects worth AED 10M+.
• Collaborate with the Projects Director to ensure that business development promises align with delivery capabilities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes affecting the electrical contracting industry.
• Prepare and present business performance reports, forecasts, and strategic plans to the executive team.
• Represent Virexus Electric Services at industry events, bid openings, and client meetings.
• Manage a small business development team, with the flexibility to work remotely when not client-facing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. MBA is strongly preferred.
• 12-15 years of experience in business development, sales, or general management within the UAE construction or MEP sector.
• Proven track record of securing large-scale electrical contracts with developers and main contractors.
• Deep understanding of DIFC commercial regulations, procurement processes, and project financing structures.
• Strong network of decision-makers in Dubai's real estate and construction industry.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and represent the company at the highest level in person.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are a significant asset.
• Valid UAE driving license.
• Must have a valid UAE PASS for digital identity verification and onboarding.
