JOB POSTING: General Manager (Operations & Business Head)

About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and decisive leader to act as the Head of Operations and the Right-Hand to the Founders. In this role, you will take full ownership of the office’s day-to-day functioning, overseeing all departments (Marketing, Accounts, Logistics, etc.) and ensuring the business runs on autopilot in the absence of the founders.

You are not just a manager; you are a problem solver who ensures that productivity, discipline, and profitability are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Second-in-Command: Act as the primary decision-maker for day-to-day operations when founders are unavailable.
• Team Oversight: Manage and coordinate between department heads to ensure targets are met.
• Process & Discipline: Ensure office discipline, attendance, and adherence to company policies. Resolve internal conflicts without escalation.
• Financial Monitoring: Oversee daily cash flow, approve vendor payments, and coordinate with the Accounts team to ensure tax compliance and timely reporting.
• Reporting: Create a weekly "Health of Business" report for the founders (Sales numbers, Cash flow status, Key issues).
• Crisis Management: Handle client escalations or operational emergencies immediately and effectively.

Who We Are Looking For:

• The "Generalist": You understand a Balance Sheet, you know how to motivate a Marketing team, and you can handle HR grievances. You are a Jack-of-all-trades.
• Leadership: You command respect naturally. You are firm on deadlines but fair with people.
• Integrity: You will have access to sensitive business data; high financial and professional integrity is non-negotiable.
• Experience: Proven track record of managing teams of 40-50 people in a E-commerce Setup.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
