Technology Lead

We are seeking an experienced Technology Lead to oversee the architecture, engineering, and operational governance of a large-scale cloud-based digital platform supporting smart solutions and integrated services.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the platform’s technical architecture, ensuring system reliability, overseeing technology operations, and enabling seamless onboarding of smart solutions and partner services . You will work closely with engineering teams, solution architects, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure the platform remains secure, scalable, and aligned with evolving business and technology requirements.

The ideal candidate combines strong cloud architecture expertise, leadership capabilities, and operational management experience within complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Strategy & Architecture

• Oversee all technology engineering domains , including cloud architecture, network topology, and integration layers.
• Maintain and govern the overall technical architecture of the platform , ensuring it remains secure, scalable, compliant, and aligned with enterprise standards.
• Define and implement technology policies, standards, and frameworks that support the organization’s digital transformation strategy.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, platforms, and software components to enhance system capabilities and performance.
• Identify required system upgrades, configurations, and modernization initiatives to maintain technology relevance and efficiency.

Platform Engineering & Operations

• Ensure the platform infrastructure and services are reliable, secure, and optimized for performance .
• Oversee the onboarding of smart solutions and external service providers onto the platform while ensuring integration and operational compatibility.
• Monitor the use of technology infrastructure and tools to ensure operational efficiency and system stability .
• Lead efforts related to incident management, root cause analysis, and system performance optimization .
• Proactively identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain high availability.

Delivery & Technical Program Management

• Develop and maintain technology roadmaps and delivery plans aligned with business objectives.
• Manage and prioritize a backlog of development and enhancement requests related to platform improvements, system maintenance, and innovation initiatives.
• Plan and communicate technical release schedules , ensuring stakeholders and delivery teams are aligned.
• Identify and remove technical impediments to support continuous delivery and deployment practices .
• Ensure all dependencies, risks, and delivery milestones are effectively managed and communicated.

Leadership & Team Collaboration

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers, architects, and technology specialists.
• Coordinate with IT managers, solution architects, project managers, and business teams to ensure cross-functional collaboration and alignment .
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement across the technology organization.
• Support the development and mentoring of technical staff.

Vendor & Budget Management

• Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Assist in negotiating and maintaining cost-effective vendor contracts and partnerships .
• Monitor technology budgets and report on technology investments, operational expenditures, and cost optimization opportunities .

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Master’s degree is considered an advantage

Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in technology leadership, technical operations, or platform engineering roles
• Proven experience managing large-scale cloud-based platforms or enterprise digital ecosystems
• Experience working in cloud-native environments and modern infrastructure architectures

Technical Expertise

• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Deep understanding of:
• Cloud computing architectures
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Microservices and integration architectures
• Knowledge of enterprise security frameworks, compliance standards, and risk management
• Experience managing mission-critical systems with high availability and disaster recovery strategies
