Company Overview

Enertia is a high-end manufacturer of premium appliances. Enertia is an associated company of Highnoon Laboratories, one of Pakistan’s largest pharmaceutical companies.

We are envisaging a new business unit in the metal refining and trading business specializing in the import of metal scrap,

refining operations, and production of Aluminum and Copper ingots for local sale and export

markets. The business covers the entire value chain including sourcing, import management,

taxation compliance and commercial sales.

Business Objective

Build, operate, and scale a profitable metal trading operation converting

imported/local scrap into Aluminum and Copper ingots for local and export markets.

The mandate holder will own the commercial and operational success of the business.

Scope of Authority

The selected candidate will take full responsibility for:

1. Scrap Procurement

• Identify, evaluate, and secure Aluminum & Copper scrap supply.

• Assess container composition and recovery potential before purchase.

2. Import & Commercial Execution

• Lead import execution, customs clearance, taxation handling, and landed cost control.

• Manage suppliers, freight, and clearing partners.

3. Sales & Market Development

• Develop buyers for Aluminum & Copper ingots.

• Execute profitable sales aligned with metal market pricing.

5. Business Profitability

• Own container-level and shipment-level margins.

• Convert trading opportunities into sustainable profit.

Expected Outcomes

The mandate holder is expected to:

✔ Build a reliable supplier & buyer network

✔ Run operations with minimal supervision

Candidate Profile

• Proven operator in metal scrap trading, recycling, or refining.

• Deep understanding of scrap grades, yields, and metal valuation.

• Hands-on experience in import/export execution and commercial negotiations.

• Entrepreneurial mindset capable of running a business unit.

Operating Philosophy

This is not a traditional managerial role.

This position is for a business operator who understands metals, markets, and margins.
