Position Overview:

We are seeking a Business Office Manager to lead the operations of our nursing home business office. This role is critical for ensuring accurate billing, collections, and financial compliance while supporting both residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the nursing home business office.
  • Manage billing and collections for Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care insurance.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of resident accounts.
  • Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and organizational policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to resolve billing or financial issues.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and implement strategies to improve collections.
  • Prepare financial reports and provide updates to facility leadership.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working in the business office of a healthcare or long-term care facility preffered, but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care insurance billing and collections preffered, but not required.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
