Business Office Manager (BOM) Responsibilities:

  • Oversee billing, accounts receivable/payable, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines and facility policies.
  • Monitor budgetary performance and expenses, identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  • Supervise administrative staff and coordinate daily office operations.
  • Maintain resident records and ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Manage office supplies and equipment procurement.
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee benefits administration.
  • Support recruitment efforts by coordinating interviews and onboarding processes.
  • Collaborate with department heads and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as a liaison with residents, families, and vendors to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly.

Business Office Manager (BOM) Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a healthcare or nursing home setting.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management principles and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and healthcare management software (e.g., EMR systems).
