Business Operations Associate — Remote | US Clients

A note on who this is for

This role is not for someone waiting to be discovered. It's for someone who has been building, learning, and figuring things out — often without resources, without mentorship, and without the right network. You may not have a polished CV. You may have taught yourself more than any school taught you. You may have started something small just to see if you could.

That's exactly who we're looking for.

WHAT THIS ROLE IS

You will embed with a US small business client and take ownership of their operations. Not help. Not assist. Own. You'll learn how the business runs, find what's broken or missing, and fix it — without someone mapping it out for you first.

KBC will train you in our systems and methodology before your first client. Everything we know about how to diagnose a business, prioritize what matters, and communicate with American clients — we'll give you. What we can't give you is the drive to actually use it. That has to come from you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Take over day-to-day operations for a US client: task management, SOPs, vendor follow-up, scheduling, reporting
  • Walk into a business situation and start asking the right questions — without being handed a checklist
  • Build simple systems that didn't exist before. Keep them running.
  • Communicate directly with US clients in clear, honest English
  • Flag problems early. Bring solutions, not just observations.
  • Work alongside a KBC marketer on paired engagements

WHAT WE'RE ACTUALLY LOOKING FOR

Credentials matter less than character here. We want to see:

  • Evidence that you've taken initiative — in a job, a project, a side hustle, or anything you built yourself
  • 1–3 years of real experience in any operational, administrative, or business-facing role
  • English you can use to write a professional email and hold a client conversation
  • A track record of following through — people who said they'd do something and did it
  • Comfort with digital tools and willingness to learn new ones fast

We don't care if your experience came from a big company, a family business, a nonprofit, or something you started yourself. We care that you've done real work and you're hungry to do more.

COMPENSATION

Part-time (20 hrs/wk): $350–550 USD/month

Full-time (40 hrs/wk): $650–950 USD/month

Paid monthly in USD. Performance review at 90 days with increase for strong performers.

HOW TO APPLY
