Business Project Manager

Responsibilities

  • Proactively monitor projects from inception to execution and implement corrective actions to ensure strict adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Drive project accountability by establishing a clear project rhythm, conducting regular follow-ups with all cross-functional stakeholders (Regulatory, R&D, Supply Chain, Marketing), and meticulously tracking all action items to completion.
  • Serve as the central hub for communication, providing consistent, clear updates on project status, milestones, and critical path activities to both team members and senior leadership.
  • Monitor project performance and provide regular updates to the Group Business Development Director
  • Manage cross-functional business development projects from initiation to completion, including product registration, manufacturing readiness, and market launch.
  • Assist in conducting feasibility studies and ROI assessments for new products, partnerships, and capital investments.
  • Coordinate with regulatory, marketing, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk assessments.
  • Liaise with external partners, Contract manufacturing organizations, consultants, and contractors to support project execution.
  • Prepare business cases and executive reports for strategic initiatives and investment proposals needed for projects under his supervision
  • Ensure compliance with internal governance and external regulatory standards throughout project lifecycles.
  • Support strategic evaluations of manufacturing outsourcing and capacity expansion opportunities.
  • Maintain centralized tracking and reporting of all active business development projects.
  • Contribute to post-project reviews and performance analysis to inform future planning.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences with Experience in pharmaceutical project management.
  • Minimum 5–8 years in pharmaceutical project management or business development. Specifically leading cross-functional teams (Regulatory, R&D, Supply Chain, and Marketing).
  • Solid knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and its regulatory landscape.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical and financial modeling capabilities
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement
  • • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
