Job Title: IT Project Management Lead – Cards Projects
Job Purpose:
Lead, oversee, and ensure successful delivery of single or multiple card-related projects (Debit, Credit, POS, PCI/DSS, compliance) within scope, quality, time, and cost constraints, while managing dynamic changes to deliver business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end setup, implementation, and management of card business projects.
- Analyze proposals, develop project plans, schedule deliverables, and allocate resources.
- Lead project teams, provide motivation, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress.
- Manage operational aspects including dependencies, risks, and conflicts.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Manage acquisitions, budgets, and internal negotiations for personnel/resources.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP).
- 7–10 years’ experience in card business project management, with exposure to technical and business projects.
- Experience in both Waterfall and Agile projects, including Agile transformation.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and manage conflicts.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and motivational skills.
- Familiarity with project management software.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Projects completed on time and within budget.
- Effective stakeholder communication and risk identification.
- Minimal deviation between estimated and actual costs/schedules.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 36 months
Pay: BD1,000.000 - BD2,000.000 per month
Experience:
- card business project management: 8 years (Preferred)
