IT Project Manager- Cards

Job Title: IT Project Management Lead – Cards Projects

Job Purpose:
Lead, oversee, and ensure successful delivery of single or multiple card-related projects (Debit, Credit, POS, PCI/DSS, compliance) within scope, quality, time, and cost constraints, while managing dynamic changes to deliver business value.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end setup, implementation, and management of card business projects.
• Analyze proposals, develop project plans, schedule deliverables, and allocate resources.
• Lead project teams, provide motivation, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress.
• Manage operational aspects including dependencies, risks, and conflicts.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Manage acquisitions, budgets, and internal negotiations for personnel/resources.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP).
• 7–10 years’ experience in card business project management, with exposure to technical and business projects.
• Experience in both Waterfall and Agile projects, including Agile transformation.

• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and manage conflicts.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and motivational skills.
• Familiarity with project management software.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Projects completed on time and within budget.
• Effective stakeholder communication and risk identification.
• Minimal deviation between estimated and actual costs/schedules.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 36 months

Pay: BD1,000.000 - BD2,000.000 per month

Experience:

• card business project management: 8 years (Preferred)
