Business Sales Manager - Eastern region

Job Summary

The Business Unit Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales activities across various channels within the business unit. This role encompasses field sales, tele sales, online sales, customer contract administration, and sales planning and forecasting. The Business Unit Sales Manager plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, and achieving sales targets.



Main Duties and Responsibilities of the job


BU Field Sales & Contracting

  • Lead and oversee the field sales team, ensuring effective execution of sales strategies and tactics.
  • Develop and implement field sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Monitor and analyze field sales performance, providing coaching and support to sales representatives.

BU Tele Sales & Contracting

  • Manage the tele sales team, establishing performance metrics and ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Develop and implement tele sales strategies to optimize lead generation and conversion rates.
  • Analyze tele sales performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

BU Online Sales & Contracting

  • Oversee online sales initiatives, including e-commerce platforms and digital marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance online visibility and drive traffic to sales platforms.
  • Monitor online sales performance and customer engagement metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary.

BU Customer Contract Administration

  • Manage customer contract administration processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Oversee the preparation, negotiation, and execution of sales contracts, ensuring favorable terms for the organization.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer contracts and monitor contract performance.


BU Sales Planning & Forecasting

  • Lead the sales planning process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align sales forecasts with business objectives.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and customer insights.
  • Monitor sales performance against forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to the Chief of Business Unit.

BU Branch Sales & Contracting

  • Oversee branch sales operations, ensuring alignment with overall business unit sales strategies.
  • Support branch managers in achieving sales targets and optimizing branch performance.
  • Conduct regular visits to branches to assess performance, provide coaching, and implement best practices.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Address customer inquiries and issues promptly, collaborating with other departments as needed.
  • Implement customer feedback mechanisms to continuously improve sales processes and offerings.

Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and assess competitive landscape.
  • Analyze competitor strategies and market trends to inform sales tactics and positioning.
  • Provide insights to the Chief of Business Unit on market dynamics and customer preferences.

Strategic Duties

  • Developing the department’s work plan and assigning related activities to serve the achievement of the department’s objectives.
  • Setting the objectives and KPI’s of the department.
  • Supervising the implementation of the department’s plans, monitoring workflow, and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring that work activities are carried out according to the pre-set performance goals and suggesting any necessary actions to the direct supervisor.
  • Setting the estimated budgets for the department and participating in the determination of its budget requirements and expected expenses, in addition to following up on the department’s expenditures in coordination with the finance division.
  • Developing the department’s work plan and assigning related activities to serve the achievement of the department’s objectives.


Technical and Executive Duties

  • Transforming the strategies and directions of company into proactive sales strategies, plans, and actions, while ensuring their alignment with the set objectives for the Manpower Solutions Business Unit.
  • Monitoring the implementation of the annual sales plans to ensure that all the required actions are taken to achieve the targeted sales volume and growth of the B2B business line and directing the implementation of any corrective actions to overcome any obstacles.
  • Reviewing and developing the sales and pricing policies and procedures applied in the department to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of sales activities.
  • Directing the pre-sales activities including sales history and market analysis, future sales projections, and the evaluation of long-term economic trends in the market to identify potential opportunities and enhance the overall sales accordingly.
  • Developing the sales enablement strategy including proper training, tools, and techniques to ensure that adequate resources are available for the sales team to successfully engage customers throughout the buying process and close deals.
  • Ensuring adequate training is provided to the sales team in a way that enhances their sales techniques and skills including managing and understanding customer’s needs and requirements.
  • Directing all sales activities towards selling for the targeted customers, as well as providing support for regional supervisors.
  • Reviewing reports submitted from the regions regarding the performance of the regions and the respective sales teams for the purpose of identifying shortfalls and addressing such, as well as recognizing achievement through the adopted incentives schemes.
  • Ensuring the compliance of the existing solutions, products and services with the pricing policy and approving pricing for new solutions, products, and services, while maintaining a competitive edge and value proposition in the market.
  • Ensuring that sales teams possess a sufficient understanding of the features and the value proposition of offered solutions, products, and services within the B2B business line to enable efficient and credible sales.
  • Providing comprehensive sales information and statistics to the B2B sales director and other divisions/functions within company when needed and as required.
  • Performing any other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor.


Knowledge, Skills & Experience Requirements:

Education and Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field.

Relevant certifications in sales management or business development are a plus


Knowledge and Experiences:

10+ years of experience in sales management, with a proven track record in field sales, tele sales, and online sales.

Experience in contract management and customer relationship management is highly desirable.


Skills:

Language: English (Fluent).

Computer: Proficiency in CRM software, sales management tools, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
