Job Title: Business Strategist – BFSI (IPO Readiness)

Contract: 3 months | On-site | Riyadh, KSA

Role Summary

Senior Business Strategist with strong BFSI experience and hands-on exposure to KSA/GCC banks and financial institutions. The role focuses on defining an IPO-aligned growth strategy for a regulated financial services business, with emphasis on digital transformation, FinTech enablement, and scalable operating models.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a current-state assessment across market context, operating model, governance, talent, and technology
• Define a clear 5-year strategic ambition and growth themes aligned to IPO readiness
• Identify growth opportunities across core financial services and adjacent ecosystems
• Shape digital, technology, and high-level product direction (concept level only)
• Develop and evaluate strategic options and provide assumptions and inputs to financial modelling teams
• Design a high-level target operating model and execution roadmap, including KPIs
• Prepare executive- and Board-level strategy materials and facilitate leadership workshops
• Act as the primary strategy interface with senior stakeholders and ensure timely delivery of outputs

Required Experience

• 12+ years’ experience in BFSI strategy, corporate strategy, or top-tier consulting
• Strong domain exposure to regulated financial services environments
• Proven experience working with KSA and/or GCC banks or financial institutions
• Exposure to IPO readiness, pre-IPO strategy, or capital markets-related engagements
• Proven Board-level communication and senior stakeholder management capability
