We are looking for a strategic, data-fluent leader who thrives at the intersection of business insight and technical analysis. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong grounding in business analysis and strategic thinking, but also brings a working knowledge of data science tools and methods to collaborate effectively with IT and Business Intelligence teams.

As the Business Strategy & Insights Lead, you will turn raw business data into commercial decisions, lead cross-functional projects, and support strategic initiatives across our growing ecosystem—including retail, logistics, 3PL, and technology-driven distribution ventures.

This is a strategic role with hands-on analytics, requiring strong communication skills, structured problem solving, and comfort with both business stakeholders and data-savvy teams.

Key Responsibilities

� Business Intelligence & Insight Generation

  • Drive analysis across retail sales, customer behavior, operational efficiency, and financial performance to surface trends and opportunities.
  • Design and own dashboards, reports, and scorecards that combine data from ERP, CRM, loyalty programs, POS, and fulfillment platforms.
  • Proactively generate hypotheses and lead insight discovery that informs pricing, customer segmentation, sales targeting, and channel mix.

� Strategic Planning & Commercial Support

  • Support business planning, annual reviews, new business evaluation (e.g. 3PL, LED signage), and go-to-market strategy.
  • Develop business cases and scenario models for leadership decision-making.
  • Prepare C-level presentations and strategic recommendations with data-backed rationale.

� Data Collaboration & Light Technical Execution

  • Act as a bridge between business and IT/data teams to ensure accurate, useful, and scalable analysis tools.
  • Use tools such as Power BI, SQL, Excel, and basic Python or R to perform exploratory data analysis when needed.
  • Translate commercial challenges into technical requirements and validate outputs delivered by technical teams.
  • Build lightweight forecasting or classification models (e.g. for demand, customer behavior, churn risk) when appropriate.

� Project Ownership & Execution

  • Lead or support initiatives such as CRM rollout, loyalty program optimization, operational performance improvement, and strategic pivots.
  • Ensure recommendations lead to implementation with clear accountability and follow-through.
  • Track actions, resolve roadblocks, and maintain communication across stakeholders.
