Job Summary

Ensures profitable growth in sales, revenue through achieving the company's annual regional sales target and implementing the company's strategies in his/her assigned region. In addition to managing, organizing, and directing all the sales team activities.


Responsibilities:

  • Identify workloads & needed Medical Representatives & District Managers, and match achievements against target daily, weekly and monthly as well as previous consumption of Key Accounts to identify problems.
  • Ensure that sales are in line with the preset target determined in the Annual Sales Business Plan, and ensure the effectiveness of the implementation of the company’s products strategy and the delivery of key product messages through feedback from subordinates and KOLs.
  • Analyze daily sales for each product in his/her Unit through sales reports.
  • Plan in advance with the product managers the needed samples & printed materials on a cycle basis according to the cycle plan.
  • Manage returned and expired products through feedback from Med. Reps. and Supervisors.
  • Facilitate workflow (e.g. follow the processing of sales orders, check availability of products with production, and suggest new services/products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Set the annual Unit/regional forecast in coordination with Marketing, identifying /modifying sales targets for each region per quarter and sales targets for each product per quarter according to the potentiality of each region.
  • Analyze/ update the regional forecast with the District Managers.
  • Set parameters for evaluation based on their sales achievements, monitor them through daily & monthly meetings, and determine the weaknesses and strengths of subordinates.



Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities


  • Communication skills with a high ability to listen, write and speak effectively.
  • The ability to control and manage multiple assignments and tasks.
  • Interpersonal abilities to keep a good relationship with superiors, staff, other departments, and customers and manage your time efficiently.
  • Creative and efficient problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work within a team.
  • Recent and updated knowledge of the Egyptian Pharmaceutical Market.


Minimum Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor of Medicine, Pharmacy, or Veterinary.
  • 15+ years in the pharmaceutical industry field, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar position
  • Master of Business Administration is a big plus
