Business Unit Manager

Key Responsibilities

Business Leadership & Strategy

• Develop, implement, and execute the business strategy for the Riyadh unit in alignment with the company’s overall objectives.
• Own the P&L of the Riyadh business unit, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
• Identify and evaluate market opportunities, trends, and competitive positioning within Saudi Arabia
• Define and track KPIs to measure business unit performance and report regularly to senior management.

Sales & Business Development

• Lead the sales and presales teams to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
• Develop new client relationships while strengthening existing accounts through strategic engagement and high-level solution selling.
• Drive pipeline creation, qualification, and closure of key deals in Cybersecurity, Networking, Infrastructure, and Cloud domains.
• Oversee the preparation of bids, RFP responses, and proposals to ensure competitiveness and compliance with client requirements.

Vendor & Partner Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with global technology vendors and local distributors.
• Negotiate and manage partnerships to secure favorable commercial terms, certifications, and strategic alignment.
• Ensure IRIS Technology maintains its partner status and compliance with vendor programs (e.g., Fortinet, VMware, Microsoft, AWS, etc.).

Operations & Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across sales, presales, and delivery functions.
• Ensure operational excellence in project delivery, client service, and post-sales support.
• Drive internal collaboration with other business units to leverage synergies.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.

Client & Market Engagement

• Act as the face of IRIS Technology in Riyadh, representing the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
• Drive thought leadership initiatives, positioning IRIS as a trusted advisor to clients.
• Build long-term client relationships by understanding their challenges and tailoring solutions to their business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA is a plus).
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in IT system integration, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role .
• Proven track record in managing P&L, driving business growth, and achieving sales/revenue targets.
• Strong knowledge of Cybersecurity, Networking, Infrastructure, and Cloud Solutions.
• Deep understanding of the Saudi IT market landscape, including key accounts, competitors, and regulatory environment.
• Demonstrated experience in managing vendor and distributor relationships.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills in both Arabic and English.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced, competitive market environment.
