Buyer

The Vealey Group is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Buyer to join our client's procurement team. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management, contract negotiation, and supplier management to ensure that we meet our production goals efficiently and cost-effectively.

• This is NOT a remote position, and you will be required to work in an office setting 5 days a week in Aurora, NC.

Qualifications:

• Adept at utilizing Power BI and Microsoft Suite tools.
• Be organized.
• Proactive/bias toward action.
• Have attention to detail.
• Able to learn current processes and support continuous improvement.
• Able to support in data projects (ERP master data maintenance, cleanup, etc.)
• Able to contribute to AP support efforts in later phase.
• Proven experience in supply chain management or procurement roles.
• Experience with contract negotiation and supplier management is essential.
• Familiarity with INS, Oracle and Microsoft programs is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making in sourcing activities.
