We are seeking a Buyer’s Assistant to support our buying/ purchasing team with crucial computer, clerical and administrative tasks. If you have strong organizational skills, are computer literate with advanced EXCEL knowledge, and have a keen eye for fashion this could be a great opportunity to advance into a Merchandise Buyer role in the future.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in data entry, order tracking, and inventory management.
• Maintain and update product spreadsheets, purchase orders, and reports.
• Communicate with vendors to confirm orders, pricing, and shipping details
• Responsible for administrative duties within the buying process, including order entries and managing deliveries assisting with sales analysis and in-season management of stock
• Assist with in-store displays.
• Organize samples and help with product merchandising.
• Work closely with the buying team to support seasonal planning and markdown strategies.
• Manage in season vendor price changes.
• Executing markdowns detailed by the Merchandise Manager.
• Accurately completes the restock report when needed.
• Audits inventory representation on the sales floor regularly.
• Develop a familiarity with the receiving process.
• Other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Most of this work is done in Excel.
• You will need to pass an assessment of your Excel abilities to be considered for this position.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
• Prior retail or buying experience is a plus but not required.
• Passion for clothing and footwear, and knowledge of outdoor apparel, footwear and gear is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
