Buying Manager – Fruits & Vegetables (Retail)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Buying Manager – Fruits & Vegetables to oversee the procurement and supply of fresh produce for our retail operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing high-quality products, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement buying strategies for fruits and vegetables
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best quality and pricing
• Manage vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance
• Monitor market trends, demand patterns, and pricing fluctuations
• Ensure consistent product availability across all retail outlets
• Coordinate with logistics and store teams for timely deliveries
• Maintain quality standards and minimize wastage
• Manage inventory levels, stock rotation, and shrinkage control
• Prepare reports on purchasing, margins, and performance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Agriculture, or related field
• 5–8 years of experience in retail buying, preferably in fresh produce

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs180,000.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 50.0 per week
