Buying Manager – Meat & Poultry (Retail)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Buying Manager to lead the procurement and category management of meat and poultry products for our retail operations. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality sourcing, competitive pricing, and optimal stock levels while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage purchasing and sourcing of meat and poultry products
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure best quality and pricing
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activity
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards
• Plan inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstock
• Work closely with sales and operations teams to forecast demand
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and reports
• Develop strategies to improve margins and reduce costs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
• 3–5+ years of experience in buying/procurement (preferably in meat & poultry retail)

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 50.0 per week
