Globe Call Centre is now hiring Cab Dispatchers who can efficiently coordinate taxi services in US/UK by managing driver assignments, monitoring vehicle locations via GPS/software, and handling customer bookings via phone or apps. Key responsibilities include optimizing routes, ensuring timely pickups, and solving logistical issues under pressure. Able to work in fast-paced, 24/7 environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Trip Management: Assigning, scheduling, and dispatching cabs to customers efficiently.
- Communication: Acting as the primary point of contact between drivers and customers.
- Monitoring: Tracking real-time vehicle locations using GPS and dispatch software.
- Problem Solving: Handling complaints, rerouting vehicles due to traffic, and managing emergencies.
- Data Entry: Maintaining accurate logs of trips, bookings, and payments.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Previous experience with dispatching software (e.g., iCabbi) and customer service is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in dispatching apps and GPS technology.
- Geography Knowledge: Familiarity with local roads, landmarks, and traffic patterns.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills for managing driver/client interactions.
- Soft Skills: Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and work flexible hours (nights/weekends).
Working Conditions
- Environment: Strictly On-Site, fast-paced office setting.
- Schedule: Full-time, Shifts as per the requirement, weekends, and holidays. (24/7 availability)
