CAD Designer

Horizon Oak, Inc is seeking a proficient CAD Drafter/Designer for both high-end custom residential and commercial cabinetry construction. The ideal candidate will have experience using Parametric 3D CAD to create products in a wide variety of wood materials and possess A BACKGROUND IN OR BASIC UNDERSTANDING OF CABINETRY. The work relies heavily on a strong eye for the details, the ability to effectively prioritize and carry out design tasks in a time-sensitive environment and collaborate and develop productive working relationships across all areas of the business.

This position is hybrid and will be afforded the option to work-from-home roughly 25% of the time.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in CAD Design, preferably with specific competence in Hexagon Cabinet Vision.
• Strong understanding of math: particularly geometry (geometric constraints), and the mechanics/science of materials
• Excellent communicator (oral and written) with interpersonal and organizational skills focused on high-quality outcomes
• Ability to problem-solve collaboratively and autonomously while managing multiple projects/builder deadlines simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• CNC programming
• Cabinet Vision Screen-To-Machine (S2M) Optimizer
• Familiarity with Bluebeam (for document management & collaboration)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.20 - $30.34 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
