CAD Designer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our dynamic team. This candidate will train one of our employees in Inventor and assist as needed with AutoCad. This is a part time position to start with a possibility of turning into a permanent full time position. In this role, you will be responsible for training a current employee on creating precise and comprehensive technical drawings, 2D & 3D models, and schematics that bring conceptual ideas to life. Your expertise will support various projects across construction, interior design, mechanical systems, and graphic presentations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects by translating creative visions into accurate digital representations, ensuring seamless communication between design and execution teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using industry-standard software such as AutoDesk and Inventor
• Produce accurate schematics, system designs, and construction documents that meet project specifications and standards..
• Assist in drafting interior layouts, mechanical systems, or graphic elements for presentations or construction purposes.
• Support the integration of CAD models into larger project workflows, including system design and 2D animation tasks.

Skills

• Proficiency in CAD software including AutoDesk and Inventor.
• Strong knowledge of drafting standards for construction and architectural projects.
• Ability to develop detailed schematics and technical drawings across multiple disciplines.
• Skilled in graphic design principles applicable to visual presentations and client proposals.
• Knowledge of 2D animation techniques for visual storytelling or client demonstrations.
