CAD Detailer

At Electra we need talented people that will share our strategy to be the obvious partner contracting for local & international players who wish to set up an event within the GCC.

The CAD Detailer is responsible for producing precise and detailed technical drawings based on project requirements, ensuring accuracy for fabrication and installation. This role requires strong drafting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with design, production, and site teams to ensure drawings meet quality and project standards.

Main Accountabilities

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for fabrication, assembly, and installation.
• Interpret design concepts, sketches, and specifications.
• Create CNC cutting files, shop drawings, fabrication details, and material take-off sheets.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, clear, and in compliance with project standards and specifications.
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback from production team..
• Coordinate with production and site teams to ensure designs are practical and feasible for Fabrication.
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of all drawings.
• Liaise with production team for technical clarifications when required.
• Work with production team preparing, layouts, revisions and renderings as needed.
• Assign and maintain material coding/numbering on drawings for easy identification, tracking.
• Follow 5S principles and Lean techniques to optimize workflows and improve efficiency.

• Proficiencyin AutoCAD; knowledge of other software such as SketchUp, Revit, or SolidWorks is an advantage.
• Proven experience as a CAD Detailer in joinery, metal fabrication, exhibitions, interiors, or related industries
• Strong knowledge of fabrication methods, materials, and standardsin carpentry and steel
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drawings
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Good communicationskills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
