About the Role:

The CAD Engineer (Civil) is responsible for preparing accurate and detailed civil engineering drawings and layouts using CAD software. The role supports design and project teams by translating engineering concepts, calculations, and specifications into high-quality technical drawings for infrastructure, roads, utilities, buildings, and related civil works.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify 2D and 3D civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar CAD software
• Interpret engineering designs, sketches, calculations, and specifications accurately
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure design accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure drawings comply with local authority standards, codes, and project specifications.
• Revise drawings based on design changes, site conditions, or client feedback.
• Maintain proper drawing control, version management, and documentation.
• Support quantity take-offs and basic material calculations when required.
• Ensure timely delivery of drawings aligned with project schedules.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field
• 2–5 years of relevant experience as a CAD Engineer / CAD Technician in civil projects
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); Civil 3D experience preferred
• Solid understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of local/international design standards.
• Experience with as-built drawings and shop drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
