About the Role

As Café Manager/Supervisor, you’ll oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and maintain smooth workflow in the front and back of house. You’ll be responsible for leading by example, supporting and training staff, managing stock and ordering, and ensuring that our café runs efficiently and profitably.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support café staff to deliver outstanding service.
  • Oversee daily café operations, including opening/closing duties.
  • Manage staff rosters and scheduling.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and food safety.
  • Handle cash management, POS reconciliation, and banking.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate supplier orders.
  • Address customer feedback in a professional and positive manner.
  • Contribute ideas to improve menu offerings and customer experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a café, hospitality, or food service leadership role.
  • Strong people and communication skills — you love leading a team.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Reliable, proactive, and calm under pressure.
  • Barista experience (preferred but not essential).
  • Food Safety / RSA / First Aid certifications (as applicable).
  • Someone who can start IMMEDIATELY.
