Cairo International Airport is Cairo’s principal airport, and the busiest and largest airport in Egypt with a lot of entities including airlines, civil authorities, law enforcement, civilians, etc.
Cairo Airport Into-plane is a joint venture: 50% TotalEnergies and 50% ExxonMobil with TotalEnergies currently operating this site.
Also, another entity exists in the same location, which is the Joint Depot managed by Misr Petroleum.
The incumbent must minimize shutdown time with ZERO tolerance in quality and supply chain management,
Required to have good technical skills in troubleshooting and solving emergent problems, or getting the right contacts involved in the right time,
Keep up with ongoing updates for aviation standards and JIG quality recommendation
Activités
Preventative maintenance:
Review periodically with guidance from ITP manager and deputy the updates coming from JIG, ATI and international aviation and logistics industry, and work on developing site-specific procedures based on the latest versions of JIG, MOCQ, HSEQ manuals, bulletins, and manufacturer recommendations
Assist ITP manager and deputy in identifying critical spare parts required for all equipment and monitor the minimum stock of these parts monthly to ensure reliable and smooth operations
Plan and manage preventative maintenance schedule for both fixed and mobile equipment
Supervise the maintenance team’s schedule implementation and support them technically using on-hand and/or outsourced resources
Document controller and files keeper for critical system documentation
Corrective maintenance & quality control:
Ensure all refueling equipment breakdowns are solved properly on time and before putting them back in service
Monitor required performance and coordinate major repairs to engines, gearbox, chassis, etc. with suppliers, equipment manufacturers, workshops or contracted outsourced agents, and report all abnormal conditions
Identify root causes or signs of breakdowns, monitor their development, and assist management in recommending the right permanent corrective actions
Operational excellence and SWP:
Make sure that all personnel under area of responsibility respect and comply with respective HSE regulations
Evaluate hazards, issue work permits for high-risk jobs, perform induction training for contractors, including safety guidelines and ERP, and ensure location is handed over to operations safely after job completion
Follow up on critical maintenance & QC parts/equipment availability in local market and ensure availability on-site
Evaluate training needs for maintenance staff and make sure they are met
Assist operation and HSE managers in carrying out staff operational training to ensure compliance with annual training plan
Prepare and aid in preparation of all upcoming audits and inspections to maintain and enhance site excellence certification
Track and consistently enhance maintenance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Downtime, Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), Failure Rate, and Repair Rate.
Asset management:
Identify and implement programs and upgrades to protect the value of assets and ensure proactive inventory management of spare parts and ordering to minimize equipment breakdown time (downtime)
Support management in reviewing monthly OPEX and CAPEX tracking with finance team and in forecasting balances with respect to annual business plan
Prepare annual procurement plan with respect to site history and future forecasting
Focal point when it comes to warehouse management and monthly stocktaking
Administrative & operations support
Prepare required management status reports during audits and inspections, update gap closure plan, and assist in implementing what is necessary to close these gaps
Participate in investigating and reporting incidents, carry out disciplinary enquiries and implement disciplinary action as required
Reinforce administrative and safety policies, standard operating procedures, rules and regulations with direct report
Monitor maintenance personnel behavior and conduct quarterly performance assessment reviews
HSE:
Strictly apply TEME HSE rules on site
Describe the specificities of the products in compliance with danger codes
Investigate incidents in line with HSE/MOCQ in a timely manner
Identify risky situations and implement adequate actions to minimize the risks to ALARP level
Keeps operational safety information/data up-to-date and reports any malfunctioning barriers
Record and control HSE indicators
Performs internal HSE audits whenever required
Controls the proper application of the on-site hygiene policy
Supervise and coordinate monthly emergency drill implementation when possible
Conduct safety meetings and safety awareness sessions
Ensure full compliance with JIG HSSEMS
Compliance and Ethics
Apply & implement the Anti-corruption, Anti-trust Compliance and Integrity Policies and Program
Implement the required process of due diligences within area of responsibilities
Apply the entire ethical approach and TEME code of conduct value
Profil du candidat
University graduate with Mechanical or Electrical Enginering degree, with/or relevant experience in Aviation operations
4 to 6 years of operations experience with 1 year’s people management experience
Good supervision experience, teamwork building and coaching to draw out the best of subordinates
Ability to communicate effectively with different cultures and classes with both (Arabic & English)
Strong background in maintenance activities is a plus
Good HSEQ background with knowledge of international HSEQ management systems
Good Analytical skills supported with computer fluency in different MS Office applications
