Call Center Manager

We’re now seeking an experienced Call Center Manager (Sales Development Manager) with strong Call Center tech skills to lead our Sales Development Rep (SDR) team and help convert leads into qualified sales appointments.

Mission of the Role

Build, develop, and lead a high-performing call center team that maximizes speed-to-lead, contact rates, and appointment conversions — ensuring every lead has a professional, timely, and positive experience before being handed to Inside Sales.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of SDRs and appointment confirmers
• Oversee daily call center operations including staffing, schedules, workflow, and QA
• Improve core KPIs: speed-to-lead, contact rate, appointment set rate, show rate, and conversion
• Run training sessions, coaching, performance reviews, and skill development
• Implement scripts, talk tracks, and quality assurance standards
• Ensure accurate CRM usage and reporting (GoHighLevel preferred)
• Maintain compliance with TCPA, SMS, and internal communication policies
• Partner with Marketing to evaluate lead quality and optimize funnels
• Collaborate with Inside Sales to ensure clean, high-quality appointment handoffs
• Build a positive, motivated, performance-driven team culture

What We’re Looking For

• Experience managing a call center or lead management department
• Strong leadership, communication, and coaching abilities
• Proven ability to improve KPIs and team performance
• Organized, proactive, and data-driven
• Experience with outbound sales, appointment setting, or customer service
• CRM proficiency
• Solar or home services experience is helpful but not required
• Ability to motivate, inspire, and build a winning culture
